Once you authorise us to commence your complaint, we will require further information from you concerning your circumstance so that we can assist you to build the strongest case to maximise your refund.
On average our PPI Check takes up to 8 weeks from the date of instruction and the it may take a further 4 months to receive a settlement. As each claim is treated on an individual basis this may vary.
All PPI premiums actually paid plus a write off of premiums yet to be paid. In addition we are able to claim interest at 8% on any premiums you have already paid; in many cases this will significantly increase your claim. As part of our claims process we will check for accounts with PPI for the bank you have asked us about and their associated group companies.

Yes you can still get a refund. If the loan/credit card is in joint names we would need the signatures of both yourself and your ex partner. Your ex partner would have to be willing to make a claim.

** When informing you we have located your PPI, we will send further paperwork to complete in order to start the claims process. We will proceed with your claim on receipt of this paperwork or when you confirm on the telephone that you wish Brunel Franklin to proceed with your claim. If the claim is successful our fees are 20% +VAT (total charge 24% incl. VAT) payable on receipt of your settlement per our terms of engagement. An interim fee cap will be introduced from 10 July 2018 (Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018). As a result, our fees on new client engagement will reduce from this date. Alternatively, you can complete the claim yourself.
*** There will be no cancellation fees payable if you cancel prior to the completion of the PPI check, and no obligation to continue with the claim should you cancel before the claim commences.
